There Are Some Things Satan Knows about Us
Second - Satan Know Skin for Skin one will curse God when Satan attacks ones body and health
Job 2:1-3 – Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. 2 And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
Satan knows that man will exchange his soul for life in this world. As if attacking our possessions was not enough, Satan knows he can make an assault on one’s body to get someone to curse God and worship Satan. Bill Wilson, the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, got the 12 steps straight from Hell. Satan offers physical life in this world when men are down at their lowest and begin to look up. It is then that Satan comes and gives them a choice: death or life in a program. Here comes the big question? What profit is there for a man to gain the whole world and yet lose his soul? Man is not concerned with his soul, but his body is another story.
Job 2:4-10 – And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. 5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. 7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes. 9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
We are speaking of a believer in Job and that Satan wants to hinder a believer’s walk with God. Also, those that don’t believe in God belong to Satan at birth, and he wants to keep it that way by preventing anyone from coming to Christ—or worse, get people to believe they truly are worshiping the one, true God when they are not. Either way, they will end up in Hell, separated from God.
The tools at Satan’s disposal have not changed. He offers life in the flesh only to have you condemned as he is, destined to the second death in the lake of fire. Again, Satan will do whatever it takes to keep you his.
In case you missed it, let us break it down in the simplest of words. First, Satan will take from you what you think is yours, and if that is not enough, he will attack your body to have you curse God! Now a real believer in Jesus Christ, like Job, will die for the faith, because this world is not our home. Today, those who claim to be Christians, will run when their faith is tried, but the few that will stand for Jesus are those that stand for the faith and will bear fruit and bring others to the CROSS.
The whole time Job was never aware that it was Satan and not God behind all the attacks one his family, friends, servants, his wealth and his Body. So who are we to accuse God and ask "Why Lord" when where are just the creature and not the Creator.
